Client: Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care

Project Focus: Direct Response Fundraising Appeal

The Challenge: Rennie Grove Peace needed to create its annual high-value Christmas Appeal, requiring a sensitive, yet highly compelling, direct-response package to motivate donors. The content needed to capture the unique, specialist care provided by the hospice while carefully respecting the vital role of the NHS.

Moo Marketing's Solution: We led the entire copywriting process, from strategic development to final execution. This involved conducting sensitive, in-depth interviews with patients’ families and front-line nursing staff to source authentic, emotionally resonant stories. We then crafted the core appeal letter and supporting materials around a central, unifying campaign message:

"Give the gift no one else can."

The Result: A powerful, narrative-driven direct mail campaign that successfully communicated the value of specialist hospice care, providing the charity with the essential storytelling assets required to meet their critical annual fundraising targets.

LinkedIn newsletter strategy, launch & engagement

The Challenge: The client, a sub-brand of a large group, faced a hurdle in audience engagement. Despite possessing a wealth of industry insights, they were selecting a replacement marketing email system, which made traditional email marketing difficult. At the same time, the sector was saturated, and standing out in a crowded inbox was a constant challenge.

Moo Marketing's Solution: A LinkedIn newsletter. Rather than competing for attention in already crowded inboxes, we pivoted to LinkedIn newsletters, placing the content directly where the target audience, marketing specialists and founders already spend their professional time. The strategy needed to resonate with both UK and US audiences. This needed careful consideration of language, tone, and positioning. We led the end-to-end strategy, design, and content development for the first four monthly editions of a new digital publication.

  • To address the UK and US audience split, we made a strategic decision to use US English, based on audience behaviour and growth priorities.

  • We designed each newsletter using a frictionless content model, combining strong visual elements with tight, insight-led copy.

  • The messaging focused on delivering immediate value rather than a hard sell.

The Result: The launch of Issue #1 generated immediate, high-quality engagement within the first 24 hours. Within the first day, the newsletter secured 205 subscribers organically, without any paid promotion or advertising support.

The campaign achieved visibility and interaction levels that exceeded typical industry benchmarks.

Project Focus: SEO copywriting & multi-brand tone of voice implementation

The Challenge: A specialist education recruiter, part of a larger group of brands, needed a distinct voice to stand out in the crowded recruitment market. This needed a complete overhaul of its website content. The goal was to achieve a uniform, professional, and engaging brand voice while simultaneously executing a complex, high-volume SEO strategy across hundreds of outdated web pages.

Moo Marketing's Solution: Moo Marketing had already written two tone of voice documents for two sub-brands, provided tone of voice training to recruitment teams, and supplied regular blogs to all four brands. As a result of this ongoing partnership and understanding of the group’s brand landscape, Moo Marketing Copy was invited to deliver this SEO project. Using the new tone of voice we'd developed for the brand, we applied this to new and existing webpages.
